Refund and cancellation policy
This policy is part of the Terms of service.
Cancelling
- You can cancel a subscription at any time from the Billing page in your workspace, which opens the payment provider's billing page. Only the workspace owner can do this.
- Cancelling stops future renewals. You keep full access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- After that the workspace becomes read-only: you can still sign in, view your studios and projects, and download everything in the Library.
- A read-only workspace's data is kept for 30 days and then removed, with emails beforehand, as described in the Privacy policy. Subscribing again within that time restores full access with nothing lost.
Refunds
- 14-day refund on your first payment, if nothing was made. You can ask for a full refund of your first subscription payment within 14 days of it, as long as nothing has been generated in your workspace since that payment (no storyboard, still, clip, voice or other paid generation, by you or your team). Ask through Contact support or by email.
- Starting straight away. At checkout you ask us to start your subscription immediately and confirm that by generating anything you give up this refund right. This also covers the statutory 14-day right to cancel that consumers in some countries (for example the EU and the UK) have for digital services: once you generate something, that right ends.
- Everything else is final. Renewal payments, later payments, payments after something has been generated, and unused time when you cancel are not refunded. Once they are offered, credit plans and credit packs are not refundable once any of their credits have been used.
- Nothing in this policy takes away a right you have under the law where you live.
- When a refund is made, access for the period it covers ends on the day it is made.
Who processes refunds
Payments are handled by Stripe under its managed payments service. The Stripe company named at checkout is the seller of record for your subscription. Refunds are returned to the original payment method. The seller of record may also issue refunds under its own policies and consumer law, independently of us.
What we cannot refund
- Charges from your AI provider. When you bring your own key, the cost of generating is charged by your provider to your account with them, not by us. We cannot refund it, including for results you were not happy with. A generation that fails is not charged by us and is normally not charged by the provider; check your provider's account for its own records.
- Used credits, once credits are offered: credits are not refundable once used.
- Accounts closed for sexual content. If an account or workspace is banned or suspended for making, uploading or trying to make sexual content, or anything sexual involving minors (see the Content rules), nothing is refunded: no payment, unused time or credits, even within the 14 days.
Your legal rights
Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law where you live, such as a statutory right to withdraw from an online purchase.
How to ask
Write to contact@inkreel.app from your account email address, or use Contact support inside the app, and tell us the workspace name and what happened. We aim to answer within 3 business days.
